Privacy policy

Who we are
The DYNAMIC Group is the trading name of Dynamic Concrete Pty Ltd (ACN 611 724 577) as trustee for the Dynamic Concrete Trust, ABN 40 465 409 524 (“we”). We carry out concrete, groundworks and site services, and we are based at 23 Beckett Avenue, Keilor East VIC 3033.
This policy covers customers, project contacts, property owners and occupiers, suppliers, subcontractors, job applicants, site visitors and people who use this website. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply, and Victoria's health-privacy law where it applies.
What we collect and why

We collect most information directly from you. Sometimes it comes from your employer, a builder, a consultant or a referee. Please don't send identity documents or bank details with a first enquiry.
Sensitive information
Health and safety information is sensitive. We collect it only when needed and with consent unless the law allows otherwise, and only authorised people can access it. Required silica health-monitoring reports are kept for at least 30 years, as Victorian law requires.
Who we share information with
People involved in your project, such as clients, builders, consultants and subcontractors; our service providers; our advisers and insurers; and regulators or emergency services when the law requires. We never sell personal information.
Where information is stored
We use Microsoft 365 for email and documents, Xero for accounting, and our own Dynamic Hub business system. This website is hosted on Vercel; enquiries are stored on Supabase in Sydney and delivered by email through Resend, whose servers are in the United States. Some providers store or access information outside Australia; we take the steps the law requires before any overseas disclosure.
Cameras
We install and monitor site cameras. Signs at each site say what is recorded and why. Routine recordings are overwritten after 30 days; footage needed for an incident or claim is kept separately for as long as it is needed. We ask permission before using anyone's image in marketing.
Ruby, our website assistant
Ruby answers common questions on this site. At present it gives pre-written answers and does not process what you type. If we connect it to an AI service, we will say so here and on the assistant itself, and a person will always review any enquiry before we act on it.
Marketing
We send promotional email only if you ask to receive it and then confirm by clicking the link we send. An enquiry or purchase does not sign you up. Every promotional email has an unsubscribe link; we act on it promptly, and always within five working days.
How long we keep information
We keep information while the law requires it or we still need it, then securely destroy or de-identify it. Payroll and company financial records are kept for seven years. Deleting a record may not immediately remove it from backups.
Access, correction and complaints
Email quotes@thedynamicgroup.com.au with “Privacy” in the subject, or write to Attention: Privacy, 23 Beckett Avenue, Keilor East VIC 3033. Access and correction are free. We aim to respond within 30 days and will explain any refusal.
If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 1300 363 992.
Data breaches
If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will contain it and notify you and the OAIC as the law requires. Report concerns to quotes@thedynamicgroup.com.au. Never send passwords by email.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices or the law change, and publish the current version here. See also the website privacy notice.
